Our client in Huntington Beach had no particular catio design in mind. She just knew whatever we build had to accommodate her kitties and her doggies. After surveying the property we settled on this large side of house Catio design. It encompassed several windows, a slider door and a pet door. It allowed for jumping and climbing shelves some bridges for the kitties and a large dog run with grass area for the puppies. We used quality prime lumber for the structure, we used 16 gauge welded wire mesh to protect our clients animals from the super aggressive coyotes in the area, and sealed the wood with Minwax wood stain for long life. —
